House committee marks up appropriations bill
The House Appropriations Committee its fiscal year 2026 Labor, Health and Human Services and Education bill. The provides $258.6 million for Title VIII Nursing Workforce Development program, falling short of the minimum amount of $303.47 million the Nursing Community Coalition requests to align with the Senate bill.
