CMS issues letters to states on oversight of Medicaid, CHIP eligibility and certain demonstration authorities
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services July 17 two letters to states regarding policies on continuous eligibility and workforce initiatives. The agency said it does not anticipate approving new or extending existing section , which expand continuous eligibility. Additionally, CMS said it does not anticipate approving new or extending existing Medicaid-funded workforce for training or employment-related activities.
