The House Appropriations Committee  a continuing resolution bill to fund the government through Nov. 21. The  extends key health care programs set to expire Sept. 30, including telehealth and hospital-at-home flexibilities. The House was slated to vote on the measure this week. The Senate will follow in an attempt to avert a government shutdown by Sept. 30. Separately, the American Hospital Association expressed  during a House Ways and Means Committee markup  on multiple bills, including the Hospital Inpatient Services Modernization Act (), legislation extending certain Medicare waivers authorizing the hospital-at-home program. The AHA  telehealth and hospital-at-home waiver extensions and passage of a violence prevention bill (/) among its year-end priorities in a letter to congressional leaders. (AHA News , 9/16/25)
