I am conducting a research study to describe the experiences of nurse managers following serious events that resulted in harm or distress to patients or staff members. Examples of these events include unexpected patient outcomes not related to medical error, patient harm or death related to a medical error, or traumatic or distressing events impacting staff such as workplace violence or staff death. This study is the first of its kind to explore this topic with a national sample of nurse managers. </p><p>The eligibility survey will take 5-7 minutes to complete.
